399 Sports and Recreation Announces the 1st Annual Crafty Gemini Preseason Showdown
Alachua, FL – 399 Sports and Recreation is thrilled to announce the 1st Annual Crafty Gemini Preseason Showdown, a highly anticipated girls’ high school volleyball tournament set to take place on August 15, 2024, at Legacy Park in Alachua, FL. This event will feature eight exceptional local teams, including two state semifinalists and one regional finalist from the 2023 season, promising an exciting showcase of young athletic talent.
Participating high school teams include:
- Santa Fe
- Ocala Forest
- The Rock
- Buchholz
- Newberry
- Union County
- Branford
- Lafayette
The tournament will kick off with the first games starting at 5:30 PM. Admission is $10 for adults and $7 for students, making it an affordable evening of competitive sports for the whole community.
399 Sports and Recreation extend its deepest gratitude to the Crafty Gemini Youth Development, the title sponsor of this event. Their generous support has been instrumental in making this tournament possible. Additionally, we would like to thank the City of Alachua for their continued support and for providing the use of the outstanding facilities at Legacy Park.
Legacy Park, located at 15400 Peggy Road, Alachua, FL, is a state-of-the-art multipurpose center that regularly hosts a variety of community events, sports leagues, and tournaments. With over 5,000 visitors each month, it is a hub of recreational activity in the region.
